    1941 Kerr Wide Mouth Mason Caps metal lids, box, instruction sheet
    This is a rarely seen item as it dates from 1941. It is a 5 ½ x 3 3/8 x 3 3/8 inch box for Kerr Wide Mason Caps brass finish metal lids with metal inserts, made by Kerr Glass; inside is a 5 x 5 ½ inch instruction sheet copyrighted 1940 but dated 1941 (Form MC-41). Included are 11 caps and 12 inserts. Almost all are corroded as shown, though some inserts are less not too bad. No top to the box . Still as great collectible from 70 years ago.
