    Description

Offered is ONE 6 Inch x 1/2 Inch "Patent Pending", Easy-Carry, Compact, Ergonomic Firm Grip Kubotan / Yawara Stick!
    A
Multipurpose device that is also useful as an Acupressure Tool, portable Door Knocker, and Medicinal Pill Crusher for Faster Absorption of your Medications.
A fatter 1/2" diameter rod version of my popular sticks previously made in black nylon
, but is NOW made in Dupont™ Black Delrin® Acetal 150 Homopolymer!
This material is a tougher and stiffer polymer material, and takes
    at least
1/2 hour to hand make and finish,....same as on my Titanium Sticks. (check out the tip and grip finishing photos)  A bargain at TWICE the price!  Also makes a thoughtful and affordable Gift. :-)
I like this material a LOT, and did quite a bit of research before deciding on using it.
Turns out it's a great fit for my product line, and makes a useful addition for those wanting a lighter and much less costly Yawara Stick than my Titanium versions in this diameter.  As no metal is used in it's construction, it nestles comfortably and
carries discreetly in most any pocket for EDC. I regularly carry one in my shirt pocket, and at just 1.3 ounces it carries without knowing it's there.
These are designed, hand made, and assembled in the USA by Ti Rod Tactical™ ,  and have the same Fist-Lock™  firm grip design as many of my other compact Kubotan sized Yawara Sticks.
Offered at a much lower price point than my Titanium sticks of a similar size and intended use, you'll get to know the "feel" of the fit discussed below, and still have one tough stick without breaking the budget.  I suspect some of you may even decide to eventually upgrade to one of my Titanium versions, and I wouldn't blame you! :-)
A secure grip is something that has often been lacking with the also compact Kubotan style sticks, as they most always seem a bit slippery to me.  I've also never liked the multiple deep cutaway finger grooves often seen  in an attempt to add some security to the grip. The Kubotan sticks are already rather thin, so to cut material away in an attempt to add "grip" is going in the wrong direction. I think what I present here is much better, and initial testing bears that out.
So,.....I offer instead a basic Yawara / Kubotan stick shape, but having a VERY comfortable and secure grip with a high coefficient of friction reinforced rubber central area, that is optimized to the user's hand like no other!
I make these up in a compact 6 Inch length, and found this length fits most folks well and still keep within a "compact" size range. The central reinforced rubber section allows a firm and comfortable grip for the "average" sized hand. For point of reference in the photos shown above, my own hand measures 3-3/4" across at the widest part and 3-1/4" across at the base of the fingers, .....and is about average I'd think.
The central grip "ends up" almost 1-13/16" in length once installed. It's so tight going on that it actually compresses about 1/4 of an inch in length! :-)   This gives a solid "locked in" GRIP with a great ergonomic "feel" in hand, and in a
    very
compact size for ease and comfort in pocket carry!
The reason for this grip length is simple,.........
As part of the overall ergonomic design, when the central grip length is almost 1-7/8" in length (generally a little wider than the combined width of the middle and ring fingers at the base for most folks), .....this will allow the user to effectively "lock"  the stick into their closed fist (aka "
    Fist-Lock™
" ), .....with about an inch or so of stick exiting the fist on each end as shown in the photo.
With the inside edge of the first finger wrapped around the rod and butted up against the comfortably tapered top edge of the grip, ....and the inside edge of the forth (pinky) finger wrapped around and butted up against the similarly tapered lower edge of the grip,......the stick is effectively LOCKED in place between both ends of the rubber grip within the closed fist!  (see photos to see how well this works! :-)
It's tough to describe how solid and comfortable this feels in several strike positions,.....but I wouldn't have invested so much time and money into this were it not a significant improvement in the "art" of  Kubotan and Yawara sticks.
I have found that for most folks, these sticks when sized in the 5-5/8" to 6" total lengths work out well and are virtually invisible when pocket carried.  When in use, the body's natural reaction is to make an even tighter fist, which serves very well here to "lock" the stick into the fist.
Also, for lots of reasons it makes sense to consider carrying multiple sticks at various locations upon your person, which is what I most often do. You never know when a single stick might be unreachable should you be wrapped up in a particular way without warning, and having various stick types available will help to counter that possibility.
To that end,.....I am offering (in separate listings), various lengths and thicknesses of this stick design but in Grade 5 Titanium alloy, and with a variety of carriage systems.  Please check them out.....
    Thanks for your consideration.
ALSO,....PLEASE make sure Yawara and Kubotan style sticks are legal to carry in your Country, State, City, or Town
    before
purchasing. Some areas may have restrictions on such things, and I cannot possibly know about every specific law in every area of the world. :-)  Your purchase confirms you have complied with your local laws. Thank You.
