    Hand-painted French faience deer platter in Gien's "Rambouillet" pattern designed by Jean Bertholle in 1955 features a handsome stag.  Marked "Gien France" with a castle mark used by the company from either 1938 through 1960 or 1971 through 1984 or 1984 or 1989 through 1998.
